Are there going to be any more books in The Last Rune?
The First Stone is the final book in the series, and brings the story to a conclusion. There are no plans for any more books in The Last Rune.
Okay, so are you working on any other books?
Yes! It’s taken me some time, but I have begun a new fantasy trilogy set in an all new world with all new characters. The first book is now out in stores, and the second book will be published in Fall 2010. For more information about my alter ego, check out this post.
Where do the runes used in The Last Rune come from?
The runes used in books of The Last Rune are of my own invention and are not meant to represent any particular system of runic writing known on Earth, such as the Elder Futhark. However, the inspiration for a rune-based magic system finds its roots in Norse mythology and the runic writing system of the Vikings.
Will you be doing any book signings in the near future?
I generally don’t do signings these days, but if I ever do have an occasion to do a signing, I’ll be sure to post it on this site.

Yours truly, the author. Yes, I designed TheLastRune.com web site myself, and I maintain it—which explains why updates are so infrequent. While I enjoy working on the site, writing takes up most of my free time!
Why hasn't this web site been updated lately?
See the answer to the question above. Since I maintain the site myself, it's sometimes hard to find the time to give it the attention it deserves in between writing and working at my day job. However, updates do happen on occasion, so please keep checking back. Your patience is appreciated!
